WHAT IS HATHA YOGA?
Moving meditation that focuses on obtaining mind-centred awareness through connection to the breath, using a series of Asanas or postures. With regular practice you learn to train the mind and body to reach a greater state of relaxation.

WHAT IS ASHTANGA YOGA?
Ashtanga Yoga focuses on strengthening and stabilising your physical self so that you can go deeper mentally and spiritually. It uses set sequences that deeply trigger the physical self in order to reach a deeper mental and spiritual state.

WHAT IS YIN YOGA?

Yin Yoga focuses on disengaging the muscular body and targeting the connective tissue by releasing into poses for five minutes at a time. Due to the length of time that each pose is held, various supports are used to ensure that the pose has a minimum impact on the muscular body.

WHAT IS VINYASA YOGA?

Vinyasa Yoga is a flow of poses that allows one to use time to accustomise the body to different poses. The focus is more on flowing from one pose to the other instead of on alignment.

TOOLS USED DURING THE CLASS
